Dress up dung beetle

Manifest divine scarab

Use that sh*t, and fly

I was inspired by dung beetles. The way they live in shit, they work with shit, they lay their eggs in shit to breed the next generation. As nasty as this existence sounds, they are purposeful servants to the ecosystem. They use what is given to help fertilize the land for sustained agriculture. They manipulate waste into something beneficial for themselves and the world. It feels symbolic of all of us in movement work. I am covered in shit and in a low place at times, while still making meaningful progress.

The more I thought about it, I saw the ancient scarab. Scarabs are all over the arid climates of the world, but were heralded as sacred in Kemet/Ancient Egypt. The art and hieroglyphs from Egypt depict the scarab with wings extended, or adorned with jewels. It represents the higher self, transformation and manifestation.

Divine Scarab, Activate!
