In solidarity with the women of Texas, and all who could lose access to healthcare, I am sharing this prayer. I had an abortion in 2009. I was also super Christian. Evangelist abortion protestors were yelling at me from across the street. Before driving out of the parking lot, I felt called to pray with them.

Dear God...thank you for this day
Thank you for the opportunity
in this circle of saints
to honor you in prayer, God
You love each of us with good measure. Thank you Lord
You blessed us with traveling graces and mercies
You put each of us in the right place today, by your will
You provide for us to handle the issues of life,
and pay the doctors and receptionists. Thank you God!
Thank you for my mama who gave me that $400
Protect us from hate and evil from men and oppressors
Let each person joining hands here touch and agree
that only you are the omnipotent, omniscient power
Charge the hearts of the angry
Let them know and share Christ's love
not fear or words of destruction, Lord
Let their throats be calm after screaming to us today.
Thank you for obedience and peace, God
Thank you for answering my prayer
